This hotel is a 5-Star experience in the most adorable historic town of Mineral Point. Loved the historic charm and fantastic details throughout. Soft jazz music greets you as you enter the front door which tranpsorts you to another time and place. The owner's attention to detail is immaculate. The room was comfortable and felt like home. Great coffee. The patio is a gem and the entire hotel experience is top-notch. Great location to historic downtown.
Just spent the weekend at Mineral Point and stayed at Mineral Point Hotel. Stayed in the hotel this year. The room is comfortable and lovely. We had a balcony, but the weather was just a bit on the cool side to sit and enjoy morning coffee. Did like waking up to the smell of coffee coming from the lobby! Loved the attention to detail, and leaf motif, from the bed frame, to lights, and even carpet. Loved out east facing windows to watch the moon rise, and the sun rise. The hotel is also in walking distance of great shops and restaurants in this quaint, friendly town. The owner, John, also makes the stay special, as he knows the town, is just fun to talk to, and is helpful. I am sorry we didn't get to taste the crepes!

Great place! Everything was wonderful. There is signage saying no overnight street parking but that is parking north of the sign. Overnight parking in front of the hotel or south (downhill) of the sign is permitted. Highly recommend staying here if you are in the area.
My friends and I spent two nights at the Mineral Point Hotel, which was as comfortable and charming as the rural WI town it is situated in. Owner John was helpful and accommodating. We especially enjoyed our happy hour on the patio. The rooms are large and well-appointed and the claw-footed soaker tub was a delightful bonus! Almost forgot to mention how reasonably priced it is!
The place is gorgeous--the most standout place for a stay I've had in years! Many amazing touches. For an older building, the room was good size and the ceiling fan was great for sleeping. Highly recommend!
Stayed here for a wedding and was very happy from the whole experience. Emailing before the date we received answers promptly. At arrival we were told we would be staying at the Jail Alley Inn in the Garden Suite. The room was spacious, the king bed was comfy, and it was very peaceful. I will definitely consider staying here again.
A very cute and comfy stay!! It was beautiful, beds were very cozy and the location was great. Definitely worth a stop in :)
